We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to join our team in Williamston.
This is a field management position and the preferred candidate will have 4 or more years of experience.
As a Construction Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction projects from start to finish.
This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients.
Duties:
- Supervise and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget - Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services - Promote job site safety, encourages safe work practices, and rectifies job site hazards - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents - Monitor project progress and quality control to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations - Conduct regular site inspections to identify any potential issues or safety hazards - Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success - Provide guidance and mentorship to construction workers on-site - Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and change orders
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or similar role in the construction industry - Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and safety protocols - Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting construction documents - Excellent leadership and communication skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
