Quick Apply Full-time 3 hours ago Full Job Description Your Responsibilities The primary responsibility of the Quality Manager is the implementation, support, and management of practices to assure that products and processes adhere to customer specifications and standards and all internal/external quality audits.
The Quality Manager oversees the administration, continual improvement of quality management systems and practices, insures the application of and compliance with the facility quality certification(s).
Provide daily support in quality related issues of plastic injection molding lines.
Analyze root causes of quality problems and facilitate the development of systemic and robust solutions for process improvements in a timely manner.
Provide statistical methods and information for quality improvement by identifying sufficient testing methods and sampling plans.
Plan and implement effective process controls, monitor SPC results and calculate process capability Participate actively in new product development and introduction.
Ensure timely product validation testing and issue verification documentation accordingly.
Develop necessary gauges, coordinate their concepts with the customer as well as the manufacturer and secure their timely procurement.
Prepare and maintain APQP/PPAP/FMEA and other reports.
Supervise supplier quality with the appropriate authority to request corrective actions.
Specify appropriate packaging, marking, labeling and stacking for supplied components, semi-finished goods and damage-free shipments to the customers.
Manage and resolve all customer complaints and serve as point of contact for all QA associated communication.
Visit customers on a regular basis and manage customer visits on site Identify Best Practices or weaknesses in any part of your process and shared with supervision to leverage best results Assist in developing and establishing a sustainable quality management system according to IATF 16949 for the entire company Assist all departments in establishing sustainable standard work instructions, procedures and LEAN Poka-Yoke measures.
Audit all documentation of processes and procedures Carry out functions described in Policies, Procedures, and Quality Manuals or assigned by supervisor Responsible for all aspects of the CCC certification.
That a CoP Control Plan is created and implemented That any relevant changes are announced to the Chinese Certification Authority Competencies, Skills and Qualifications Education/Qualification:
BS/BA or technical degree in Quality Engineering or related field, or relevant experience with equivalent qualifications.
Maintains American Society of Quality Control certification as Quality Engineer, (consider a plus).
Experience:
Minimum 5 years as a Quality Engineer in a plastics environment, preferred in the automotive industry.
Knowledge:
MS Office CAQ Data Management System APQP, PPAP, FMEA and similar automotive standards Root cause analysis methods and Statistical methods Certified Auditor of IATF 16949 quality management systems knowledge.
Certified Auditor of VDA 6.

Working knowledge of German automotive OEM requirements.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; networking and participating in professional societies Skills/Abilities:
